It's almost that time of year for the annual Weiser Fiddle Festival.

What to Expect
Along with baseball and apple pie, fiddling might be another American pastime. And in Idaho, we take the instrument and the sound it will emit very seriously. To this, the annual Weiser Fiddle Festival offers local fiddlers a platform and venue to exhibit their homegrown skill. And you might be surprised given the range of ages of the fiddlers taking part.

Fiddle Contest
During the event is the fiddle contest. Here, our local Weiser-area fiddlers will demonstrate prowess and musicianship in order to be judged by a panel of experts in the craft. So, beforehand, all fiddlers desiring to compete should begin rehearsals as soon as possible for the best possible outcome.
Free Entertainment
In addition to the fiddling contest, there's an entertainment stage that will feature other local talent. And in the past, we’ve seen Grammy winners take part and those just starting their musical careers. In fact, the Weiser Fiddle Festival is akin to a proven springboard toward future success in the industry.
